Sit back and relax on our open air beachfront deck for a lazy beach day full of elevated-casual fare and all your favorite wines, beers, and cocktails.
Located right along the boardwalk with panoramic views, you can take a break from the sun and still be a part of everything happening on the beach.

Who is Wooly?

Owner, Mark “Wooly” Woolpert, is a local surfer, born and raised on the Central Coast. Wooly is known for being a kind and lighthearted soul. While he loves to travel the world in search of surf, he always comes home to the Central Coast where his heart is (and his family and friends are). So, he invites you to “drop on in” to Wooly’s and have a fun time with your friends and family.

Taste of Pismo

Classic Car Show

Third weekend in June
The Classic at Pismo Beach is one of the largest Spectator Car Events in the Nation. This event brings in over 175,000 people each year to the breathtaking Central Coast of California to Pismo Beach! This event brings over 1,000 show cars out for three days and takes place the third weekend in June.

Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

Celebrate our nation’s independence with music, food, and a Grand Fireworks Display from our famous 1,200 foot Pismo Pier.

Billabong’s Still Frothy Surf Festival

September
The Still Frothy Surf Festival is an exciting and unique 2-day event at the Pismo Beach Pier that includes the only tow-at (jet ski assist) air division on the Central Coast. The first day includes the Youth Divisions, JR Guard Challenge & the Tow-At Air Show, while the second day features the Pro-Am Contest.

Clam Festival

Mid-October
A community tradition since 1946, the Pismo Beach Clam Festival takes place in October and  features a live parade, best local chowder contest, surf contest, food, Beer & Wine Garden and Pier Pub, music and a Friday night wine walk.

Monarch Butterfly Grove

November thru February
Each year thousands of vibrant orange and black Monarch Butterflies flock to Pismo Beach, seeking shelter from the freezing northern winters. The butterflies cluster in the limbs of a grove of Eucalyptus trees at Pismo State Beach. The grove is easily accessible. It is located on State Highway 1 at the south boundary of the city limits of Pismo Beach.
